California SB 585 was Vetoed, we won this one.

TO the firearms owners of California SB 585 was Vetoed

To the Members of the California State Senate:
I am returning Senate Bill 585 without my signature.
This bill would prohibit the sale of firearms and ammunition at the Cow Palace. This bill
would set a confusing precedent at the state level by statutorily prohibiting one District
Agricultural Association (DAA) from selling firearms and ammunition, a legal and
regulated activity, while allowing other DAAs to continue to do so. In addition, this bill
would result in decreased state and local tax revenues by restricting events at the Cow
Palace.
For these reasons, I am unable to sign this bill.
Sincerely,

Hopefully he will veto AB 962 - that's the important one, the one restricting handgun ammunition to "face to face" sales only.

Won a skirmish, lost a battle - AB962 signed. The impact on revenues (if that was so important) will be significantly more than what might be made at the Cow Palace.

Sounds more like the old 'take a mile and then give an inch back to placate them' strategy.

Her gun control? Not too good. Her booger-hook is on the bang-switch.
BREAK HER OF THAT HABIT... you NEVER, EVER, EVER touch the trigger until you're ready to fire or disassemble the weapon in the case of Glocks, et. al. Period. #1 safety rule. No exceptions.

Never fails, when someone posts a pic of someone without trigger discipline, it is the first thing mentioned.

Is your wife wearing an amethyst or garnet wedding ring? NEAT!

"This bill would set a confusing precedent at the state level by statutorily prohibiting one District Agricultural Association (DAA) from selling firearms and ammunition, a legal and regulated activity, while allowing other DAAs to continue to do so"...

Translation: "So go back to the drawing board and fix this so that it includes ALL DAAs. Then I can sign it."

Poor trigger control. I would hate to be over in the corner when the kid jumps on her back.
